Hoshiarpur- In village Kot Fatuhi of district Hoshiarpur, the Ramlila Management Committee, with the support of all the residents of the town, NRIs, and the local Sangat, celebrated Dussehra with devotion and enthusiasm as 'a symbol of the victory of goodness over evil'. On this occasion, 55 feet tall effigies of Ravana and Kumbhkaran were burnt and tall tableaux were taken out. On this occasion, Bhajan groups enthralled the Sangat with Katha Kirtan related to Ramayana.
On this occasion, President Dr. Jagtar Singh, Vijay Baba Ji, Kulwant Singh Gosha, Numberdar Ram Saroop, Sanjeev Kumar Pachanangal, Pandit Tejpal, Pandit Dharinder Sharma, Darshan Singh, Darshan Singh Mahi, Gurnek Singh, Paramjit Singh Rakkar, Jatinder Singh Kaith, Bahadur, Kamaljit Singh, Raja Riyat, Irfan Khan, Gurmail Singh former Sarpanch, Kamaljit Singh Bhola, Sarpanch Mohan Lal, Numberdar Ram Saroop, Kushav Karan, Harjinder Singh Kaka, Rajinderpal Singh Raja, Pawan Kumar, Lakhvir Singh Dhillon, Jeeta Dhillon, Inderjit Singh, Comrade Balvir Singh, Gurmeet Singh Gill etc. were present in large number along with the residents of the town and the local Sangat.
