Hoshiarpur- The youth of Hope Welfare Society gave a message of environmental protection by planting trees in Railway Mandi Ground on Sunday. About 100 trees were planted on this occasion.
Team leaders Harraj and Mehak said that plants are the basis of life and every person should plant at least one tree in their life. They said that the aim of the society is not only to plant trees, but also to make people aware about the environment.
Bhavika, Honey, Sahil, Harsh, Mehak, Aakriti, Sameer, Harraj, Shreya, Harjot, Hiya, Inder and Umesh participated in this campaign. Everyone planted trees together and also took a pledge to take care of them.
The youth appealed to the city residents to also become partners in the conservation of nature and try to increase greenery around them.
