Keeping in mind the importance of knowledge of Urdu language for literary and office needs in Punjab, the Language Department has made arrangements for Urdu education in the District Language Offices.
For those interested in learning Urdu, the next session of Urdu course is being started by the department in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar from July 2025. District Language Officer Dr. Sandeep Sharma said that no tuition fees are charged for this Urdu course. The duration of this course is 6 months.
A person of any age group can take admission in this course. It is noteworthy that many learners of the center have already received education in Urdu language. The department has arranged a qualified Urdu teacher for this class. The class timing is from 5 pm to 6 pm, so that working and employed people can also take advantage of it.
