Speaking in this regard, Dr. Jaswant Rai, Research Officer, District Language Office, Hoshiarpur said that the enterprising people of village Bodal Cantonment have done a great job by establishing a library in the name of Dr. BR Ambedkar in the village. Libraries are a treasure trove of knowledge. The books present in them open the doors of our minds. A person who reads and loves books is sensitive. He always works in the interest of society and the country.
In today's electronic age, the importance of books increases even more. Apart from their school curriculum books, students should also read as many library books as possible. The more books a student reads, the sharper his mind will be. Dr. Jaswant Rai, in addition to the books of the Language Department, also donated novels, poems, stories, articles, criticism and books of great personalities from his personal library to this library. Lecturers Kulwinder Singh Bodal, Madam Sita Rani and Harkirat Singh, who came to receive the books from Bodal village at the District Language Office, Hoshiarpur, thanked the Language Department for these books.
