Karnal, September 28: The 14th Great Gurmat Samagam was celebrated with great devotion and pomp at Gurdwara Singh Sabha on the birth anniversary of Dhan Guru Ramdas Ji. A large number of devotees participated, bowing down and receiving not only blessings but also the Guru's unbroken langar with devotion.

The Gurmat Samagam was organized by the Guru Ramdas Ji Sevak Jatha. Renowned ragi groups narrated the life and history of Guru Ramdas Ji through Shabad Kirtan, filling the atmosphere with devotion and emotion.
In the Kirtan Darbar, Bhai Chamkaur Singh (Doon Tarn Taran), Bhai Mehtab Singh (Jalandhar), Bhai Tejinder Singh (Karnal), and Bhai Joginder Singh (Nilokheri) enthralled the audience with their melodious voices. Devotees remained immersed in devotion throughout and imbibed the teachings of the Guru.
The Gurdwara premises were attractively decorated for this occasion. A unique message of service and brotherhood was spread throughout the gathering. The Sangat expressed that such gatherings strengthen spirituality and mutual unity in society.
During the gathering, the Hazuri Ragi Jathas elaborated on the tradition of immortal martyrs, the importance of service and sacrifice established by Guru Ramdas Ji. They stated that the Guru's teachings inspire us to follow the path of truth, selfless service, and brotherhood.
On this occasion, the Sangat prayed for peace, brotherhood, and prosperity in the country and state. Bibi Satwinder Kaur and Ishmaan Kaur enthralled the Sangat with their kirtan, singing "Tere Bharose Pyare Main Laad Ladayo."
The Gurdwara Management Committee extended special thanks to the entire Sangat and resolved to continue organizing such Gurmat Samagam in the future. The Sangat said that only by implementing the teachings of Guru Ramdas Ji in our lives can we make our lives meaningful in the true sense.
