Una, September 19 – Under the Social Justice and Empowerment Department of Himachal Pradesh, a special verification campaign is being conducted to ensure e-KYC of all 70,093 social security pensioners in Una district through the e-Kalyan mobile app.
This information was provided by District Welfare Officer, Una, Awas Pandit. He stated that this campaign is being conducted through Anganwadi workers at the district, tehsil, panchayat, and local levels.
He further appealed to all beneficiaries of the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension, Indira Gandhi National Widow Pension, Indira Gandhi National Disability Pension, Old Age Pension, Widow/Abandoned/Single Women Pension, Disability Relief Allowance, Leprosy Patient Allowance, and Transgender Pension Scheme to complete their pension verification through their local Anganwadi worker by September 30, along with the latest information on their required documents.
He informed that under this special verification campaign, Anganwadi workers are verifying the latest information of all pensioners like Aadhar card, date of birth, mobile number and complete permanent address on the basis of documents.
Currently, the verification work of most of the pensioners of the district has been completed, while the work of the remaining unverified pensioners is being completed soon. He said that the work of pension distribution through the new portal will be disrupted for those pensioners whose latest information is not verified
