Punjab government's initiative has given new wings to daughters: Karamjit Kaur.

Four outstanding cadets of 'Mai Bhago Armed Forces Preparatory Institute for Girls' located in SAS Nagar (Mohali) have been selected in the prestigious pre-commission defense training academies of the country. These four cadets will now join the National Defense Academy (NDA), Air Force Academy, Indian Naval Academy and Officers Training Academy.
Expressing happiness over this proud achievement, Karamjit Kaur said that this is a matter of pride not only for Mai Bhago Institute but for the entire Punjab. She said that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously working to advance the daughters of the state in every field, especially to ensure their participation in defense and administrative services.
She further said that the main objective behind the establishment of Mai Bhago Institute is to provide proper guidance and quality training to the daughters of the state for entering the armed forces. Congratulating the four selected cadets, the Chairperson said that these daughters would become a source of inspiration for other daughters of Punjab in times to come.
She also appreciated the instructors and staff of the institute who played an important role in helping the cadets reach this milestone. Karamjit Kaur said that the state government is fully committed to strengthen such institutes and take the daughters to new heights.
