Patiala- Technical Service Union Circle Patiala President Harjit Singh Sekhon and Secretary Baresh Kumar said in a joint statement that the CHB workers' union Powercom, Transco and Contract Workers Union have gone on a complete strike in the Electricity Board. In connection with this strike, Technical Service Union Punjab decided to organise rallies at sub-division level today on 26-05-2025 in their support.
During this, the workers of Patiala Circle organised rallies in support of CHV workers in all sub-divisions and demanded that CHV workers be made permanent and the dismissed leaders be reinstated immediately as per the High Court verdict. Vijay Dev, Jatinder Chadha, Gurdeep Singh, Harjit Singh, Baresh Kumar, Inderjit Singh, Rupinder Singh, Darshan Kumar, Karamjit Singh etc. addressed this rally at different places and warned that if any kind of atrocities are committed on CHB employees, the Technical Service Union will be forced to launch a fierce struggle. They also condemned the privatization being done in 10 divisions.
