Nawanshahr- Vocational Teachers Front Punjab held a meeting with the Cabinet Sub-Committee on April 24 as part of its continuous struggle against the Punjab Government. In the meeting, the Cabinet Committee has sought 20 days to resolve the issues of NSQF Vocational Teachers. District President Ranjit Singh said that no concrete action has been taken yet on the demand letter given on the issues of the department.
A virtual meeting was held by the leaders of the Front in this regard and they have said that the government is adopting the policy of slapping in the name of meetings. If the government does not resolve the issues of vocational trainers soon, then a rally will be held soon to expose the false guarantees of the AAP government in the Ludhiana by-election.
This demonstration will be held in the markets of Ludhiana South and people will be told about the false education model of the Punjab government, who before the Chief Minister elections used to say that no employee will have to sit on dharna or rally when our government comes. Today all the temporary employees are sitting on the roads. The leaders of the Morcha said that their main demand is that the salary should be made Rs 35075 on the lines of Haryana state and a job security policy should be made. Vocational teachers have been working in government schools on very low salary for the last 10 years. Aam Aadmi Party had promised in the elections that the outsourcing contracting system will be abolished when their government comes. But even after three years of the government, no demand has been resolved. State Morcha members Ranjit Singh Nawanshahr, Ranjit Singh Barnala, Bhupinder Singh Rupnagar, Gurjit Singh Bathinda and various district presidents were present in this meeting.
