S.A.S. Nagar, May 7 – Dasvin Day was celebrated with great devotion and enthusiasm at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan in the nearby village Sohana. On this auspicious occasion, religious programs were organized throughout the day after the morning bhog of Sri Sahaj Path Sahib Ji.

In this religious gathering, Bhai Amrik Singh Shri Amritsar Wale International Panthak Dhaadi Jatha narrated in detail to the Sangat the life events of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji Maharaj and the “Dhur ki Bani” recited by him, which is recorded in Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, through Dhaadi Vaars.
Bhai Kewal Singh Hajuri Ragi Gurudwara Sis Ganj Sahib Delhi Wale tried to connect the Sangat with Guru Ji by singing Ilahi Bani through his soulful Kirtan. Shiromani Preacher Bhai Sandeep Singh Ji Shri Anandpur Sahib Wale explained to the Sangat the importance of the Amrit of Khande Baate through his sermons and inspired them to follow the path of the Guru by drinking Amrit.
Apart from this, the Dhaadi Jatha of Bhai Major Singh Shri Tarn Taran Sahib, Bhai Gurmeet Singh Karnal Wale, Bhai Jatinder Singh Bharatgarh Wale, Bhai Manpreet Singh Gurmat Prachar Jatha, Bhai Manjit Singh Ludhiana Wale, Sher-e-Punjab Kavishri Jatha, Bhai Jaswinder Singh's Jathas as well as the Huzuri Jatha of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan - Bhai Inderjit Singh, Bhai Harbakhsh Singh, Bhai Gurmeet Singh and Bhai Sukhwinder Singh - delighted the Sangat by reciting Hari Jas throughout the day through Katha, Kirtan, Kavishri and Gurmat Vichar.
All the Jathas were honoured with Siropas. On the tenth day, thousands of Sangat took bath in the holy Sarovar of this place. The patients were examined by expert doctors of every department and medicines were made available by the Gurdwara Management Committee.
On this occasion, the spokesperson of the Managing Committee informed that a dispensary and lab are also being run at this place, in which all the tests are done using the most modern computerized methods. Patients are examined by specialist doctors and medicines are given by the committee with the cooperation of the congregation. Apart from this, machines like MRI, CT Scan, Ultrasound and X-Ray have also been installed for the convenience of the congregation.
