All the speakers rejected the privatization policy of the Central Government and Punjab Government and while addressing the sit-in, TSU Vijay Dev, Jatinder Chadha, Joginder Moji, Inderjit Singh, Karamjit Singh, Bhagwan Singh, and Hardev Ghagga, Balraj Joshi, Davinder Singh Seal from Bhartiya Kisan Union Ekta Ugrahan, Dilpreet Singh, Bikar Khan, Hakam Singh Dhanetha from Contract Work Union, Varinder Singh Momi from Water Supply Union, Sandeep Khatri from PESCO addressed the gathering.
All the speakers warned the government that if the policy of privatization is implemented in any department, then everyone will unite and oppose this policy. In a resolution, it was demanded that two employees Banarasi Das and Ram Singh, who were fighting against privatization in the Electricity Board, should be reinstated as per the court's decision and their payments should be released immediately. Later, a huge march was also taken out from Circle Office Patiala to Old Bus Stand.
