S.A.S. Nagar, June 19- A ‘Hero Deluxe’ motorcycle has been presented by a donor for Kar Seva at the historic Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan situated in the nearby village Sohana.
Providing details, a spokesperson of the Gurdwara Management Committee said that the donor parked the ‘Hero Deluxe’ motorcycle right next to Nishan Sahib in the Gurdwara Sahib and handed over the keys to the Management Committee and then left.
He further said that all the documents and insurance of the motorcycle are in the name of Gurdwara Singh Shaheedan Sohana, and as per the documents the cost of the motorcycle is Rs. 88,600. The donor has also got all the necessary accessories installed on the motorcycle. The Management Committee and volunteers gathered and prepared the deg of Kada Prasad, and Ardaas was performed by Ardasia Singh for the prosperity of the donor.
The spokesperson said that earlier too, secret and overt donors have, from time to time, donated three air-conditioned buses, one Qualis, one Scorpio, one Mahindra Marazzo, three Maruti Eeco vehicles, and one Maruti Versa for the kar seva of the holy place of Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji.
Tata 207, Tata 709, two Mahindra Arjun tractors, three Swaraj tractors, one Ford tractor, one John Deere 5210, one Mahindra Pickup, one Mahindra Utility Vehicle, one Mahindra Camper, one Mahindra Mini Truck 3200, one Max Pickup, one Tata LP Truck, one Ashok Leyland Truck, along with large amounts of money, gold and other items have been donated for kar seva.
