SAS Nagar, April 11- Senior Deputy Mayor of Municipal Corporation SAS Nagar and current Acting Mayor Mr. Amrik Singh Somal visited and reviewed the situation at the RMC points located in Sector 71 and Shahimajra. During the visit, he inspected the cleanliness and waste management and issued strict instructions to the officials. 
On this occasion, he gave instructions that the garbage collected from all the RMC points of the city should be shifted to the compression plant located in Jagatpura immediately, so that the cleaning arrangements in the city can be further improved. 
During this, 4 tippers of garbage were removed from the RMC point of Sector 71. On this occasion, Councilor S Jagdish Singh Jagga of Shahimajra and social worker Pradeep Soni of Sector 71 were also present, who shared the cleanliness concerns of the local people. On this occasion, the Senior Deputy Mayor assured that the Municipal Corporation will leave no stone unturned regarding cleanliness.
In addition, Mr. Somal also held a special meeting with the cleaning contractors working on A and B roads and they were strictly instructed to complete their work properly within the next 5 days. He informed that if the work is not done as per the instructions, strict action will be taken against the negligent.
