SAS Nagar 07 April, 2025: Today, as an effort to provide modern facilities in the schools of the state under the Shiksha Kranti Punjab campaign of the Punjab Government, the development works done by the Punjab Government during the current tenure in the Government Primary Schools located in Phase-7 and Phase-2 of SAS Nagar in Mohali city were inaugurated by the constituency MLA Kulwant Singh.
In the Government Primary School of Phase-7, the classrooms were renovated with modern methods and equipped with all kinds of facilities at a cost of Rs 15 lakh and in Phase-2, the already constructed rooms were renovated at a cost of Rs 2.55 lakh and modern facilities like projectors and LED TVs have been provided.
On this occasion, the MLA said that the government led by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Aam Aadmi Party National Convenor Arvind Kejriwal, Education Minister Punjab Harjot Singh Bains and Punjab Incharge Manish Sisodia is paying special attention to the health and education of the people to develop Punjab in every aspect. He said that any society can be prosperous only when its residents are healthy and educated.
To fulfill this objective, the Punjab Government has opened 881 Aam Aadmi Clinics in Punjab and apart from recruiting teachers in schools, all kinds of facilities are being provided in government schools like private schools. Apart from this, he said that no problem of any kind will be allowed for the education of children in schools. He told the school principals that whatever is necessary in the school for the future of the children studying in the school, no matter how much money the government has to spend for this, the Aam Aadmi Party government is committed to provide them every kind of facility.
On this occasion, he also appealed to the school teachers that since their status is equal to that of the parents of the children, they should take as much care of the education of the children as they take of their own children.

Gogi, Harpal Singh Brar, Amarjit Singh, Gurpal Singh Grewal, Harpal Singh, Gurmukh Singh Sohal, Gurwinder Singh Pinky, Satnam Singh Sarpanch Giga Mazra, Malkit Singh Block President, Rajinder Singh Sarpanch Bar Mazra, Gurpreet Singh Panch Baliali, apart from a large number of city residents and parents of the children were present.
