
SPECTRUM 2025: A Celebration of Art and Photography at PEC
Chandigarh, 31st March, 2025: The Art and Photography Club (APC) of Punjab Engineering College (PEC) successfully hosted SPECTRUM 2025, a two-day event that brought together art and photography enthusiasts from various colleges to showcase their creative talents. The event, held on March 29-30, 2025, featured a series of competitions that provided participants with a platform to express their artistic and photographic skills.

The event, held on March 29-30, 2025, featured a series of competitions that provided participants with a platform to express their artistic and photographic skills.
The grand inauguration ceremony was graced by Dr. Puneet (ADSA) in the presence of the Person In-Charge (PI) of APC. Dr. Puneet congratulated the organizing committee for their efforts in putting together an inspiring event and extended her best wishes to all participants competing in SPECTRUM 2025.
In the lead-up to SPECTRUM 2025, the APC also organized ‘Kalaa’ on March 28, 2025, a heartwarming initiative where underprivileged children were given the opportunity to explore their artistic potential through engaging workshops on sketching, origami, and art.
The closing ceremony was graced by distinguished guests, including Mr. Krishna Gopal, Chief Manager, Central Bank of India, along with Dr. Rajesh Bhatia, Director, PEC, Dr. D.R. Prajapati, Dean, Student Affairs, and Mr. Prabhsimran Singh Bindra, Professor In-Charge, APC. Their presence and words of encouragement added immense value to the event, inspiring participants to continue pursuing their creative passions.
A major highlight of the day was the prize distribution ceremony, where the winners of various competitions were felicitated by the esteemed dignitaries. Their outstanding contributions in different categories of art and photography were recognized, marking a proud moment for all participants. The panel of judges, comprising renowned artist Mr. Bheem Malhotra and award-winning photographer Mr. Jagjit Singh Soni, played a crucial role in evaluating and appreciating the talent on display.
The unwavering support from Central Bank of India was instrumental in ensuring the seamless execution of the event, contributing to its grand success. The event was further enriched by a heartfelt Vote of Thanks delivered by Prof. Prabhsimran Singh Bindra, who expressed gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, organizers, and supporters for making SPECTRUM 2025 a memorable and impactful celebration.
