
Poster making and speech competition organized by Chemistry Department on the topic of sustainable development.
Nawanshahr/Banga- The Chemistry Department of Sikh National College Banga organized a poster making and speech competition on the topic of sustainable development under the guidance of Principal Tarsem Singh Bhinder. Giving information about the main objective of this competition, the Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Amrit Kaur said that sustainable development is a systematic principle for human life on earth.

Giving information about the main objective of this competition, the Head of the Chemistry Department, Dr. Amrit Kaur said that sustainable development is a systematic principle for human life on earth.
While making development policies, it is kept in mind that not only the present needs of man, but also the needs for eternity can be fulfilled. In this, special emphasis is laid on the protection and conservation of the natural environment and the judicious use of resources. 12 students participated in this competition. The students shared their views by making posters and giving speeches related to sustainable development.
Dr. Amrit Kaur and Dr. Jyoti Prakash played the role of judges in these competitions. Mandeep Kaur stood first in the poster making competition, Harmandeep Kaur second, Deepti and Lipakshi third. Manjot Kaur stood first and Baljeet Singh third in the speech competition.
On this occasion, Principal Tarsem Singh Bhinder specially participated and said that understanding the depth of the subject of sustainable development, the students should focus on such subjects so that energy resources and environment can be protected for the coming generations. He also praised the Department of Chemistry for organizing this competition.
On this occasion, the Head of the Department of Chemistry Dr. Amrit Kaur, Dr. Jyoti Prakash, Dr. Harjot Singh, S. Baljinder Singh, Madam Seema Sharma and all the members of the Department of Chemistry were present.
