123 candidates participated in this job fair, out of which 71 eligible candidates were selected for jobs by various companies. Giving this information, District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Sandeep Kumar said that 14 companies including Topan Specialty Films, Vardhman Knittings, QS Group, Checkmate Securities, Bajaj Finance etc. participated in this job fair and a large number of unemployed youth were given a chance to stand on their feet during this job fair organized by the Punjab Government.
On this occasion, various speakers informed the candidates about the facilities provided by the office to give counseling, information about competitive examinations, methods of giving interviews and right guidance for their future. On this occasion, online and offline registration of unemployed candidates was also done. The employers participating in the job fair were also given letters of appreciation by the District Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training Officer.
The college's Vice Principal Priya Bawa thanked all the employers, applicants and the entire staff of the District Employment and Entrepreneurship Bureau for making the job fair a success.
