Hoshiarpur- By following the footsteps of freedom fighter Chacha Ajit Singh, who led the Pagdi Sambhal Jatta movement, and kissing the noose of the gallows before the martyrdom of Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh and his great companions Rajguru and Sukhdev, the Mann government has proved itself to be more cruel, deceitful and a stooge of the people of Delhi than the British.
Before his martyrdom at the age of just 23, Shaheed-e-Azam had expressed the apprehension that these are the same native rulers who are more dangerous and looters than the British and had given a message to the people of the country to be cautious. The present central and state rulers have proved this right by their illegal actions and outright unjustified coercion and have betrayed the people fighting for the truth, for which these arrogant rulers will have to pay the price very soon.
The step-motherly behavior of the central government and its stooge Bhagwant Mann has left no stone unturned in sinking the boat of Punjab. Justice-loving people of the country and the state all over the world are strongly opposing such useless and plundering rulers. Hooliganism and hatred towards the farmers will shake the roots of the central and state governments. Just like the Mughals and British rulers who thought of destroying the legacy of Punjab, Gurus, Peers, devotees and great martyrs, the present rulers of the country and the state will have to face defeat and the coming generations will keep cursing them. History is a witness that those who think of destroying Punjab themselves get destroyed and Punjabis emerge unscathed from every crisis and fight against atrocities. The hardworking people will never forget the hooliganism done in connivance with the central and state governments during the days of martyrdom of Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his comrades, nor will they ever forgive the rulers responsible for it.
On such an occasion, to pay true tribute to Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh, Rajguru and Sukhdev, justice-loving people should come forward to oppose the atrocities being committed on farmers in connivance with the central and state governments. Protests should be held against this in every village and one must be ready to fight in the battlefield to build the society of the dreams of the martyrs.
On the call of the wise leaders of the United Kisan Morcha, we will have to struggle and this struggle will have to continue till the exploitation of man by man is completely eradicated. Only then will the dreams of all the martyrs of the freedom struggle come true and the unity and integrity of the country will be saved.
