The long-awaited construction of Sainik Sadan is now a reality. The district administration has transferred 4 kanal land to the Sainik Welfare Department for this purpose in Roda, Gram Panchayat, Haroli subdivision.

Una, September 20 – Thanks to the persistent efforts of Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri, veterans in Una district have received a significant gift. The long-awaited construction of Sainik Sadan is now a reality. The district administration has transferred 4 kanal land to the Sainik Welfare Department for this purpose in Roda, Gram Panchayat, Haroli subdivision.
The district has approximately 13,000 veterans, and the need for special facilities for their families has long been felt. Deputy Chief Minister Mukesh Agnihotri prioritized this issue and expeditiously implemented it.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that our soldiers stand guard at the nation's borders. Their service and respect are our top priorities. Sainik Sadan will not only serve as a center for resolving the problems of veterans and their families, but will also be a symbol of their respect. We will ensure that a beautiful building, tailored to the needs of veterans, is completed as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal stated that the district administration is committed to the welfare of the soldiers. The construction of the house will be completed in a timely manner so that veterans can benefit from it as soon as possible.
Colonel S.K. Kalia, Deputy Director of District Sainik Welfare, stated that the plan for the Sainik House is being prepared according to the needs of veterans. Work has already begun in this direction. It will include an auditorium, accommodation facilities, and other necessary amenities so that all veterans and their families can benefit from it.
