SAS Nagar, March 19: Mohali police have registered a case under sections 406, 420 at City Kurali police station against a person named Harvinder Singh, resident Sector 68 Mohali, for fraudulently depositing crores of rupees in his account and selling the partnership project land to someone else and taking the money.
In this regard, complainant Rahul Saini, resident Phase 5 Mohali in a complaint to SSP Mohali had said that he along with Harvinder Singh made a partnership deed in November 2022 and formed a company named Golden Bricks and the office of this company was opened in Phase 7 Industrial Area. According to Rahul Saini, he had a 25 percent share in the project of this company, while Harvinder Singh had a 75 percent share.
This company had started a commercial project by purchasing more than 10 acres of land in Kurali. Due to increase in the rate of the said land, Harvinder Singh became greedy and to harm him, Harvinder Singh forcefully took over the project under his other partner company Nifty and started promoting it informally saying that the project belongs to Nifty Company.
Further, Harvinder Singh transferred crores of rupees from the company's bank accounts to his personal account without informing him. According to the complainant, Harvinder Singh sold 9 Kanal 12 Marla land of the project to a person named Amrik Singh and embezzled ?1 crore 20 lakh as earnest money.
SSP Mohali handed over the investigation of this case to a high-ranking officer and the police investigation revealed that when a dispute arose between Rahul Saini and Harvinder Singh regarding the project, Rahul Saini had filed a case against Harvinder Singh in the court and the court had stayed the project. Harvinder Singh, under the banner of this project Nifty Group, also started booking through social media by calling the commercial project a residential project and wrote the names of 2 people on the banner of the project who have nothing to do with this project.
In this case, the police have registered a case against Harvinder Singh and it is being investigated who else was involved with him in this case of fraud. Police investigation is going on.
Rahul Saini: Other partners of Harvinder Singh are also involved in the case of fraud
In this regard, Rahul Saini said that other partners of Harvinder Singh are also involved in this case of fraud who jointly carried out this entire act. He said that a case has been registered against Harvinder Singh while investigation is being done about the rest.
He has demanded from the police administration that Harvinder Singh should be arrested as soon as possible and a case should be registered against the other people involved in this fraud and they should be punished.
