Chandigarh, March 19: The CPI has said that the law and order situation in Punjab is deteriorating day by day. Punjab CPI Secretary Comrade Bant Singh Brar has said that the three-year performance of the ruling Aam Aadmi Party in the state has been very disappointing.
He said that the political, economic and social condition of the state remains serious. He said that after losing the elections in Delhi, the Aam Aadmi Party has become very angry, due to which, under the pretext of fighting against drugs, Yogi Adityanath's bulldozer policy is being adopted, houses are being demolished and many youths are being killed in encounters.
He said that after rescuing a child from kidnappers on March 13, in which one kidnapper was killed, a group of drunken policemen in Patiala brutally beat up an army colonel and his son and made them unconscious and kept threatening that we have come after conducting an encounter and there should not be another encounter. He said that Kejriwal and Bhagwant Mann did not say a single word against the police, on the contrary, Aam Aadmi Party leader Aman Arora violated the law and said that the accused will be encountered.
Mr Brar has said that CPI and other secular forces have constantly protested against drugs, corruption, unemployment and law and order and even now if the government continues to protest against these evils. He said that if Punjab government really wants to fight against drugs then it should break the political police and drug mafia alliance and action should be taken against high-ranking police officials and political leaders due to whom the youth of Punjab are getting completely ruined and their houses should be bulldozed, otherwise this whole act will prove to be false promises and drama of Modi-Shah.
