Patiala, January 1 - On the first day of the new year, Patiala MLA Ajitpal Singh Kohli dispatched the second bus from Patiala Urban Constituency today to visit Mata Naina Devi, Sri Anandpur Sahib and Mata Jawala ji under the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme. He said that the 'Chief Minister Pilgrimage Scheme' launched by the state government under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has provided a great facility to the pilgrims.
Talking to the pilgrims, he said that the pilgrims have received the blessing of religious pilgrims on the first day of the year itself. He said that on this auspicious occasion of the new year, pilgrims should pray for the good of all at all religious places so that the new year brings happiness and joy to everyone's homes. MLA Kohli further said that the Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme is proving to be very helpful for the common people. The scheme was launched by the Punjab government on November 27 on the occasion of the birth anniversary of the first Guru Nanak Dev Ji. This scheme is proving to be a boon for people who are missing from visiting major religious places. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the 'Chief Minister's Pilgrimage Scheme' is also a very commendable initiative under the pro-people initiatives launched by the Punjab government on a large scale. MLA Patiala Shahri said that in the coming days more buses will be dispatched to visit the pilgrimage sites. Pilgrims will be visited by special buses of Sri Amritsar Sahib, Sri Anandpur Sahib, Sri Damdama Sahib Talwandi Sabo, Mata Vaishnu Devi, Mata Jawalaji, Mata Chintapurni Ji, Mata Naina Devi Ji, Sri Khatu Shyam Ji and Salasar Balaji Dham Ji.
