Nawanshahr/Banga- Sikh National College Banga Punjabi Department and NSS Wing organized a street play 'Aakhar Kadon Tak' under the able guidance of Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder Ji. The play was presented by Red Club Punjab's top artists Harinder Singh, Malkit and their fellow artists.
The theme of the play was to create awareness among people (especially the young generation) about how their lifestyle is getting ruined by getting trapped in the quagmire of drugs. On this occasion, College Principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder gave a message to the students that they should create awareness against drugs around them, so that such bad traits do not flourish in the society and everyone can live a healthy life.
On this occasion, the students also pledged to cooperate as much as possible for the prevention of drug abuse. Punjabi Department Head Dr. Nirmaljit Kaur thanked everyone.
During the staging of the play, NSS Wing Coordinator Prof. Vipan, Prof. Sunidhi Miglani, Prof. Abid Waqar, Dr. Gurwinder Singh, Prof. Puja, Prof. Tajinder Singh, Prof. Manmant Singh, Dr. Kumari Sikha, S. Paramjeet Singh Superintendent and a large number of students were present.
