Hoshiarpur- Under the 'Punjab Shiksha Kranti' campaign being run by the Punjab Government, Local Bodies Minister Dr. Ravjot Singh today inaugurated various development works completed at a cost of about Rs 33 lakh in 4 government schools of Shamchurasi Assembly constituency. Dr. Ravjot Singh said that his 'Punjab Shiksha Kranti' is no longer just a campaign, but a wave of change which is reaching every village, every school and every child. During this, he inaugurated new classrooms built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh in Government Elementary School Pandori Khajur, classrooms built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh in Government Elementary School Chakkowal Brahmana, boundary wall built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh in Government Elementary School Chakkowal Brahmana, classrooms built at a cost of Rs 7.51 lakh in Government Elementary School Chakkowal Brahmana.
The Local Bodies Minister said that the newly constructed rooms are equipped with smart class facilities and modern educational techniques, which will significantly improve the education level of children. He said that this initiative will not only strengthen the education system but will also help in making students self-confident and self-reliant citizens.
He said that 118 Schools of Eminence have been established in the state under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. Teachers are being sent abroad for training so that children can be given the best education according to today's time. He said that the shortage of teachers in government primary schools is being overcome.
