Nawanshahr, March 1- A camp was organized in the Gaushala of village Binewal of Tehsil Garhshankar of district Hoshiarpur under the guidelines of Deputy Director Animal Husbandry Department Punjab, Hoshiarpur and under the chairmanship of Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi.
While addressing the camp, the Deputy Speaker gave detailed information about various policies of Punjab Government, recruitment of new doctors and veterinary inspectors in the department. In the camp, Senior Veterinary Officer Dr. Achhar Singh presented medicines worth Rs 25000 received from the government to the Gaushala.
Dr. Achhar Singh also gave information about various schemes being run by the department. On this occasion, District President of Aam Aadmi Party and Chairperson of District Planning Board Hoshiarpur Karamjit Kaur, Gaushala Manager Sajjan Rana and Market Committee Chairman Baldeep Singh were also present.
