Garhshanker 28 February- Today on Friday 28 February, National Science Day was celebrated in Government High School Pandori (Beat). On this occasion, poster making, speech and quiz competitions were organized. Medals and prizes were given to the winning students.
In speech competitions, first prize was given to Jaspreet, second to Dhawanpreet and third to Sukhveer Das. Painting Competition- (6th and 7th class) first prize was given to Yashpreet, second to Kiran Bhatia and third to Sonia. Painting Competition (9th and 10th class) first prize was given to Harvinder Singh, second to Dhruv Chaudhary and third to Ravinder Riyait. In quiz, Lovepreet and his partner got first, Jaspreet and his partner got second and Dhawanpreet and his partner got third place.
Science quiz competition and child scientists were honored in competitions from block level to district level. All the staff was honored for special contribution in these competitions. On this occasion, Mr. Tejpal, Mr. Anupam Kumar Sharma, Mrs. Jasveer Kaur gave information about the importance of Science Day. School incharge Mrs. Parvinder Kaur motivated the students to participate in academic activities along with studies. Teacher Sonia played the role of quiz master.
