Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, February 28: Municipal Corporation S.A.S. Municipal Commissioner Mr. Parminder Pal Singh has informed that keeping in mind the convenience of the people, the property tax branch of the Municipal Corporation will be kept open on Saturday and Sunday also, so that people can deposit their property tax. He also informed that strict action is being taken against property tax defaulters to achieve the target of property tax collection of Municipal Corporation Mohali.
Notices are being sent to property tax defaulters by the Municipal Corporation and some properties have also been sealed by the Municipal Corporation last week. The last date for filing property tax for the financial year 2024-2025 is 31-03-2025.
Commissioner Parminder Pal Singh has appealed to the residents of Mohali that for the convenience of the people, the property tax branch of the Municipal Corporation will remain open on the last days of the week, Saturday and Sunday, from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm throughout the month of March.
He has appealed to the people to pay their due property tax by making the correct assessment. Those property tax holders who are not paying the property tax or are paying less property tax due to wrong assessment, will be charged property tax along with penalty and interest.
