Nawanshahr, 27 February- To celebrate the Shivratri festival of Bhole Shankar ji, devotees of Mahadev organized various types of langars in various markets, mohallas and main roads of the city, devotees stood in long queues to eat the langar with devotion. Drums were played at the langar sites and religious songs of Bhole Shankar were playing.
The 5th huge bhandaar was organized by Charandeep Singh Channi, director of Mahadev Flower Decoration Tate, with the help of devotees of Bhole Shankar. He told that sweet almond kheer, noodles, Manchurian, plum, almonds of Bhole Shankar, cashews, poppy seeds, sogi and milk prasad were served in the langar. Before using the prasad langar prepared for Shivratri, Bibi Baljit Kaur Qadri Gaddi Nashin Darbar Gyarah Wali Sarkar Lakh Data Peer Nai Abadi Nawanshahr started the langar by requesting.
Nambardar Channi and Chet Ram Ratan, Senior Councilor, Nawanshahr, while congratulating the congregation on the occasion of Shivratri, said that the langar of Bhole Shankar will continue forever. Where the sevadars served the langar to the congregation with great pomp. The devotees performed Bhangra on the religious songs of Bhole Shankar.
