Mohali, February 17: On November 13, Arun Kumar, the only son of Vijinder Kumar Valmiki of Balongi, died in a road accident. To get justice to the victim and to catch the absconding bus driver, SCBC Maha Panchayat Punjab had announced to hold a protest on February 3. But the newly appointed SHO Amandeep Singh, seizing the opportunity, reached the protest site on February 2 and asked for 15 days from the leaders of the protest. SHO Balongi, acting honestly and loyally, arrested the bus driver and the bus within 10 days. The best police officers and SC BC Morcha leaders went to the Balongi police station and honored SHO Amandeep Singh with a siropa and the leaders praised his entire team.
On this occasion, the Morcha President Balwinder Singh Kumbha while talking to the press said that if the police wants, no criminal can escape. He said that the action taken by the SHO of Balongi police station is being praised by all the residents of Mohali. Whenever an officer does any commendable work, our Morcha always encourages that officer. The hard work of the Morcha leaders and the police team has played an important role in getting justice to a poor person.
