18 February Hoshiarpur- To help the youth who have been dying due to drug addiction in villages, cities and towns for a long time, Ayur Jeevan Ayurvedic Research Centre organised a free de-addiction camp at Gurdwara Shaheedan Mahilpur. In this regard, MD of Ayur Jeevan Ayurvedic Research Centre and District President of Dal Khalsa, Baljinder Singh Khalsa told the journalists that the increasing use of drugs in the society in recent times is a matter of concern.
While it is ruining the young generation, it is also damaging the reputation of Punjab to a great extent. Drug addiction is a serious social and health problem, which affects the drug addict, family and the entire society. It not only harms physical and mental health, but also creates economic, moral and legal problems.
He said that "Dal Khalsa" is making special efforts to eliminate drug addiction. Along with this, de-addiction camps are being organised on a large scale to help the people trapped in drug addiction get rid of this addiction. He said that we also pray to the Lord for the recovery of people suffering from drug addiction in Punjab, so that the drug addicts can overcome this mental illness.
