Haryana State Transport provides free bus facility to candidates for CET Group C examination.

Chandigarh, July 24- Giving information, the spokesperson of Haryana State Transport said that the department is continuously making efforts to provide safe, comfortable and timely transport facility to the passengers in the state. In this regard, special arrangements have been made by the government for the successful organization of CET Group C examination.

It is worth mentioning that the government has entrusted the responsibility of transporting the candidates from district level bus stands to the examination centers and bringing them back for the CET Group C examination to be held on July 26 and 27 in all the districts of the state and in Chandigarh.
The spokesperson said that with this goal, the State Transport Department has arranged for about 12 thousand buses which will be operated according to both the sessions of the examination. Candidates will be taken to the nearest bus stands of the examination centre by 7 am for the morning session and by 12 noon for the evening session. Wherever possible, free shuttle service will also be provided to the examination centres till the final stage.
The spokesperson also informed that free bus facility will also be provided to one family member along with the female candidates as a help. To avail this facility, it will be necessary to show only the admit card. Therefore, the candidates are requested to reach the bus stand before the scheduled bus departure time on the day of the examination date as per the information available at the bus stand of the nearest bus depot and avail the free transport facility being provided by the government.
The spokesperson informed that Haryana State Transport will operate about 4 thousand buses from its 24 depots and 13 sub-depots and cover a distance of about 11 lakh km every day and provides bus facility to about 10 lakh passengers every day. The goal of Haryana State Transport is to properly provide the facilities being provided by the government to the people of the state.
