Patiala, January 27- Punjab Pollution Control Board (PPCB) has continued its drive to create awareness among general public against use of banned Chinese Door/Manjha/Nylon/Synthetic thread for kite flying and against use, storage, supply, import and sale of China Door.
The team of PPCB, Patiala comprising of Engineer Mohit Singla, Assistant Environmental Engineer, Engineer Dharamvir Singh, Assistant Environmental Engineer and Engineer Vinod Singla, Junior Environmental Engineer seized 32 Gattus (rolls of China Door) during checking at village Kauli, District Patiala. PPCB, Regional Office Patiala recently conducted checking at various places of Patiala including Achar Bazar, Tripati, Raghomajra and Main Bazar Rajpura, Bhadson, Sanaur, Nabha.
Chief Environmental Engineer Dr. Lavneet Kumar Dubey has appealed to the general public to immediately inform the board about such culprits so that the board can take action as per the law. Similarly, Environmental Engineer Gurkaran Singh has also appealed to the general public and parents to stop their children from using China door.
