Mahilpur - As a result of the tireless efforts of MP Dr. Rajkumar Chabbewal, funds are being continuously released for the government schools of Hoshiarpur assembly constituency. A few days ago, a grant of Rs 26 crore was released for the schools of Hoshiarpur and in this series, now a special grant of Rs 3 crore 24 lakh has been released.
Thus, in the first month of 2025 itself, about Rs 30 crore has been given in the field of education, which is a commendable step. This grant will be used to repair, maintain and meet the deficiencies of the necessary facilities in the schools. This will provide better education and favorable environment to the students in the schools. This amount will prove to be important in increasing the level of education in the schools of Hoshiarpur.
Dr Raj said, "Education is the foundation of society and strengthening it is our first priority. We will ensure that no school lacks resources. This grant will be used for renovation of school buildings, furniture, drinking water facilities and better toilets." He also said that the AAP government is taking proactive steps to bring about a change in the education sector.
He also assured to provide more funds in the future so that the infrastructure of schools can be further improved. He said that we are committed to providing better educational opportunities to every section in a better environment.
