Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 22, 2025: Exercising the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of M/s GNK Overseas Education Consultancy Pvt Ltd.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that M/s GNK Overseas Education Consultancy Pvt Ltd S.C.O. Mr. Gurpreet Singh (Director) son of Mr. Amrik Singh and Ms. Atmpreet Kaur (Director) daughter of Mr. Amrik Singh, owners of AKS Colony, Opposite Canara Bank, Patiala Road Zirakpur, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, House No. 5, Seal Road, Peer Colony, Bahadurgarh, District Patiala now House 95, Sigma City, Zirakpur, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar were issued Licence No. 259/IC dated 22.01.2019 to carry out consultancy work. The validity of this licence has expired on 21.01.2024. Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to non-submission of monthly report by the licensee as per the Act/Rules and Advisory and non-renewal of license for advertisement/seminar organized by the firm and non-response/clarification to the notice and non-compliance of the sections of the license, the firm and licensee, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6 (1) (E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, have cancelled/revoked the license number 259/IC dated 22.01.2019 issued to M/s GNK Overseas Education Consultancy Private Limited with immediate effect.
In addition, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible for it in every respect and will also be responsible for its compensation.
