Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 21, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of IELTS Oracle firm.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that Mr. Vikas Walia (Proprietor) son of Mr. Harish Walia resident of Tehsil Jaisinghpur, District Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, owner of IELTS Oracle SCO No. 36, Top Floor, Phase-2, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, presently residing at House No. 194/5, S.B.P. Homes, Extension-III was issued license No. 264/IC, dated 24.01.2019 for running IELTS coaching institute. The validity of this license expired on 23.01.2024.
The Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to the licensee not submitting monthly reports as per the Act/Rules and Advisory and not renewing the license for the advertisement/seminar organized by the firm, not responding to the notice/not giving clarification and not following the sections of the license, the firm and the licensee, exercising the powers vested under the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, have cancelled the license number 264/IC, dated 24.01.2019 issued to IELTS Oracle with immediate effect.
Furthermore, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible for it in every respect and will also be responsible for its compensation.
