Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 21, 2025: Exercising the powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professionals Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of Travel Portrait Pvt Ltd.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that Travel Portrait Private Limited, Shop No. 13-14, Wadhawa Nagar, Dhakoli, Zirakpur, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Owner Mr. Deepak Kumar Sanjivia (Director) son of Mr. Khushi Ram resident of House No. 1279/2, Shakti Nagar, Kalka, District Panchkula (Haryana), Mr. Dharminder Singh Sidhu (Director) son of Mr. Parvinder Pal Singh and Mr. Parvinder Pal Singh (Director) son of Mr. Kripal Singh both residents of House No. 5, New Generation Duplex, Dhakoli, Zirakpur was issued Travel Agency Licence No. 381/IC dated 17.02.2020. The validity of this licence is up to 16.02.2025. Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that the licensee has violated the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012 by not submitting monthly report as per the Act/Rules and Advisory, not responding/explanation to the notice, not complying with the provisions of the license. Therefore, in view of the above facts, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, the license number 381/IC dated 17.02.2020 issued to the firm Travel Portal Private Limited has been cancelled with immediate effect. Further, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible for it in every respect and will also be responsible for its compensation.
