Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 21, 2025: Children from various schools are practicing cultural and colourful programs for the Republic Day celebrations to be celebrated at the grounds of Shaheed Major Harminderpal Singh Government College Mohali. Rehearsals have been started by school children from January 20 under the guidance of District Education Officer (Secondary Education) Dr. Ginni Duggal for patriotic and enthusiastic cultural activities and colourful programs to be presented by the children of Sukal on the occasion of Republic Day.
District Education Officer Dr. Ginni Duggal said that the children are full of enthusiasm about the preparations for Republic Day. She said that proper arrangements have been made for the children to reach and return from the venue during the rehearsal. Apart from this, refreshments are also being provided to the children preparing for the Republic Day celebrations. Full dress rehearsal will be held at the college ground on January 24, 2025.
 The schools that participated in these rehearsals included students from School of Eminence Phase-11 Mohali, School of Eminence Phase-3B1 Mohali, Sant Ishar Singh Public School Mohali, Apeejay School Mundi Kharar, Lawrence Public School Mohali, Gilco International School Kharar, Swami Ram Tirath School, BSH Arya School Sohan, Government Primary School Phase 3B1 Mohali, Shivalik School Phase-6 Mohali, Government Girls Senior Secondary School Kurali, Laxmi Tara Chand School Silba, Government College Phase-6 Mohali, Mata Sahib Kaur Public School Sawara and Government Girls Senior Secondary School Sohana.
