
MLA Zimpa distributed assistance of Rs 34.50 lakh to 23 beneficiaries under Awas Yojana
Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Zimpa today distributed cheques of Rs 34.50 lakh to 23 beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural) in a special program. This scheme has been launched with the aim of providing permanent houses to the needy families living in kutcha houses in rural constituencies. On this occasion, the MLA said that under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to the beneficiaries in a phased manner according to their needs.

This scheme has been launched with the aim of providing permanent houses to the needy families living in kutcha houses in rural constituencies.
On this occasion, the MLA said that under the scheme, financial assistance is provided to the beneficiaries in a phased manner according to their needs. In the program, the amount has been released to the beneficiaries as the first installment, while the remaining two installments will be released based on the progress of the construction work.
MLA Brahm Shankar Zimpa said that the government is paying special attention to social and economic empowerment in rural constituencies. He said that this scheme provides an opportunity to the poor and weaker sections of the people to realize their dream of building their own houses. The government is making every possible effort to ensure that the benefits of the scheme reach maximum people.
He further said that the state government is committed to all-round development in rural areas. Apart from this scheme, work is also being done on other welfare schemes, in which toilet construction, water supply and employment generation schemes are important. The MLA finally appealed to them to take maximum benefit of the government schemes and protect their rights by being aware.
On this occasion, the beneficiaries expressed their happiness and thanked the government and the MLA. They said that with this assistance, they will be able to build a safe and respectable house for their family. On this occasion, BDPO Parvesh Goyal, Sarpanch Amarjit Bajwa, Rajan Saini, Sarpanch Navjinder Bedi, Bakhtawar, Sarpanch Ashok, Sarpanch Jeevan, Sarpanch Satwinder Satti, Raja Virdi were also present.
