Garhshankar- CPIM district committee meeting was held today in Garhshankar under the chairmanship of Subhash Mattoo. Party's state secretary Sukhwinder Singh Sekho was specially present in this meeting. Addressing on this occasion, Sekhon said that the government which is a coalition of communal corporate houses is attacking the minorities in the country, Baba Sahib's Swadheen Jamhuirat.
The unity and integrity of the country is being weakened. Our country is a country of religion and language, there is unity in diversity here. The present government has also put it in danger. Speaking about the Punjab government, he said that the economic condition of Punjab has become very weak. The government has to pay loans even to pay salaries to the employees.

Gurnek Singh Bajjal Mahinder Kumar Badoan Balwinder Singh Ranjit Singh Shubash Mattoo Asa Nand was elected District Secretary. It was decided to take maximum number of comrades to Moga Maha Panchayat on 9th January. On this occasion Shubash Mattoo expressed his gratitude to the comrades who formed the sub-committees.
