
Sikh National College Banga's athletes Lovejot Kaur and Inderjot Kaur won medals

Nawanshahr/Banga- Sikh National College Charan Kanwal Banga's students Lovejot Kaur and Inderjot Kaur have brought laurels to the college by winning medals in the Inter College Athletics Championship organized by Guru Nanak Dev University. Congratulating the winners on this occasion, college principal Dr. Tarsem Singh Bhinder said that student Lovejot Kaur has won the gold medal by completing the 200 meter race in 24.94 seconds.
Similarly, student Inderjot Kaur has also won the silver medal in the 800 meter race. He also informed that athlete Lovejot has also made a place in the Inter University Athletics Team of Guru Nanak Dev University by completing the race in 12.06 seconds before the qualifying time of 12.20 seconds for the 100 meter race. For which she has gone to Bhubaneswar (Odisha) to showcase her game.
On this occasion Principal Sahib specially congratulated Lovjot Kaur's coach Randhir Singh Bhullar and wished him all the best for the Inter University. On this occasion Sports Dean Prof. Munish Sandhir, Sports Incharge Prof. Kuldeep Singh (Football Coach), Sports Committee officials Prof. Vipan, Prof. Jyoti Prakash and Manmant Singh Librarian and Gurpreet Singh (Clerk) also congratulated the athletes for this achievement.
