
Government ITI Kalanaur organised seminar to educate students on free legal services and traffic rules

Ramaneet Kaur, Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Gurdaspur, panel advocates of District Legal Services Authority and Traffic Education Cell of District Police Gurdaspur organised a special awareness seminar at Government ITI Kalanaur today.

During the seminar, panel advocate of District Legal Services Authority, Gurdaspur, Davinder Singh Aulakh, informed the students about free legal aid and Lok Adalats. On this occasion, he motivated the students to stay away from the evil of drug abuse and also informed about the helpline number 15100.
On this occasion, representatives of Traffic Education Cell, ASI Amandeep Singh and ASI Sanjeev Kumar informed the students about traffic rules. They said that we should keep all the documents of our vehicles complete and should not drive any vehicle without a driving license. They said that helmet must be worn while driving a two-wheeler and seat belt must be fastened in a four-wheeler.
He said that one should never drive under influence of alcohol and one should also not use mobile phone while driving. During this, he also told about Punjab Police helpline number 112 and cyber crime helpline number 1930. On this occasion, Principal Neeraj Dhawan and Vice Principal Ashok Sharma of Government ITI thanked the District Legal Services Authority and Traffic Education Cell for organizing this seminar.
