Meanwhile, DSP Talwinder Singh said that CIA staff Mohali has arrested a person with illegal weapons from SBI Homes Lakra. The arrested person has been identified as Toofar, resident of Burail, Sector 45, Chandigarh. He said that a 32 bore pistol and 5 live rounds have been recovered from Toofar. The DSP said that in this case, the police had already arrested Vandh Bhardwaj and Anchete Bhardwaj, residents of Sector 66, Mohali. In addition, Jasmeet Singh, resident of Sector 46A, Chandigarh, was arrested.

Illegal weapons were also recovered from the arrested accused. He said that a case has been registered under the Arms Act at Ferozepur 11 police station in this case and the arrested accused Toofar is being interrogated after taking police remand to know from where he had brought the said weapons.
