Nawanshahr 25 February- Harmanpreet Kaur, a former student of Government Smart High School Mazara Kalan / Khurd, was honored with a gold medal by retired SDO (BSNL) Raghuvinder Pal and his colleagues. The student was given this honor in a simple but impressive ceremony organized in the school under the supervision of Headmistress Neelam Kumari.
Giving information, the headmistress said that the student Harmanpreet Kaur had secured second place in the district in the tenth examination held in March 2023 and secured first place in the district in the Punjab State Talent Search Examination (PSTSE) this year. He told that even before this, retired SDO Raghuvinder Pal has distributed kits and copies to the children in the joy of his daughter doing PhD in Australia and from 2015 till now, he has honored the students of different schools by giving gold medals and laptops who have been meritorious in any examination of Punjab Board.
Apart from this, he has also honored national football players by giving them gold medals. In the ceremony, Kamaljit Singh Grewal New Zealanders honored another student of this school, Simran Kumari, by giving her a gold medal and Rs. 1000. The school staff honored the guests who came to the ceremony by giving them Siropas.
On this occasion, Master Ajay Kumar Chahar Mazara, Dr. Amit Kumar ENT, Harbhajan Singh, District President of Kirti Kisan Jathebandi Surinder Singh Bains, Retired SDO Tarsem Lal, Chairman SSE Balwinder Singh, Kamaljit Singh Ranewal, Rajiv Sharma, Ajaypal Singh, Daljinder Kaur, Neeru Bala, Chandan Sharma, Rajveer Kaur, Prince Preeti, Kailash, Rajwinder Kaur and Pradeep Kumar etc. were also present.
