Una, September 4- Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal inspected various development projects under Haroli block on Thursday and reviewed the progress of the works.
He directed to ensure the quality of the construction work of the Panchayat Bhawan being built at a cost of about 69 lakhs in Gram Panchayat Chetran and complete it in a timely manner. The Deputy Commissioner said that facilities like gym and library will also be made available in this building for the all-round development of the youth under the Samarthya Yojana.
He also inspected the Amrit Sarovar being developed there at a cost of 25 lakhs and directed to make the Sarovar more attractive for community use. Under this, fountain and appropriate lighting will be installed so that this site can become an aesthetic and useful center for the area.

Gym facility in Gondpur Jaichand-
The Deputy Commissioner, while inspecting the community building located at Gondpur Jaichand, found that some gym equipment is already partially present in the building. On this, he directed BDO Haroli to set up a full gym facility under Samarthya Yojana, so that the local youth can take advantage of it.
The Deputy Commissioner said that it is necessary to strengthen the fitness and wellness infrastructure at the grassroots level to promote a healthy and active lifestyle. He directed the local administration to take forward such efforts on priority basis, so that better facilities are available to the youth and community development can get a new direction.
During the inspection, the Deputy Commissioner enjoyed the presence of ducks and other birds in the pond located near the community building and watched their frolic in the water. He said that it is a symbol of the natural beauty and biodiversity of the area and the administration is committed to preserve and promote it.
 On this occasion, BDO Haroli Rajeshwar Bhatia, Pradhan of Chetran Vicky Rana, Pradhan of Gondpur Jaichand Panchayat Anup Agnihotri, JE Amandeep Sharja and other dignitaries were present.
