
Awareness campaign against drugs launched in villages through youth clubs
S.A.S. Nagar, December 9, 2024: As per the instructions of the Punjab Government, a large-scale campaign is being run to make the state drug-free and keep the youth away from drugs. Under this campaign, a street play against drugs was organized by the Youth Services Department SAS Nagar in village Gudana of District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar in collaboration with the Youth Services Club and Gram Panchayat Gudana.
S.A.S. Nagar, December 9, 2024: As per the instructions of the Punjab Government, a large-scale campaign is being run to make the state drug-free and keep the youth away from drugs. Under this campaign, a street play against drugs was organized by the Youth Services Department SAS Nagar in village Gudana of District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar in collaboration with the Youth Services Club and Gram Panchayat Gudana.
This play was presented by Sarfarosh Rangmanch. The play showed how we can stop the increasing spread of drugs and eliminate them together.
Captain Mantej Singh Cheema, Assistant Director, Youth Services Department SAS Nagar, while addressing the gathered people, said that we should actively participate in this campaign being run by the Punjab Government against drugs, so that we can save our village, town, city, state from the clutches of drugs.
On this occasion, Jagtar Singh Pradhan, Abhishek Singh, Jaskaran Singh, Gurjinder Singh (Jind), Gursevak Singh etc. club members and villagers from Youth Services Club Gudana, Village Sewa Sudhar Committee Bathlana, Youth Services Club Dhelpur were present.
From Sarfarosh Rangmang, artists Vishal Singh, Mandeep Lote, Mani, Gaurav, Varshdeep Singh, Aryan Mahajan, Dali Singh Shah etc. showed their talent. The department honored the Sarfarosh Rangmang team with the support of the village panchayat.
