At such a time, ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ is making a significant contribution to making people aware of health, which is a commendable step by the Punjab Government. SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur made this statement and said that with the important participation of yoga in today’s stressful life, any person can make their life happy by bringing change in their life.

At such a time, ‘CM’s Yoga Shala’ is making a significant contribution to making people aware of health, which is a commendable step by the Punjab Government.
SDM Mohali Damandeep Kaur made this statement and said that with the important participation of yoga in today’s stressful life, any person can make their life happy by bringing change in their life.
He said that for ‘CM’s Yogashala’ in Mohali city, trainer Surindra Lodhi is conducting 6 yoga classes daily at different places, in which the first class is held at Sector 79, Park Mohali from 5:00 to 6:00 am, the second class is held at Darshan Vihar Society, Sector 68, Mohali from 6:15 to 7:15 am, the third class is held at Sector 69, Park, Mohali from 7:30 to 8:30 am. The fourth class is held at Pancham Vihar Society, Sector-68, Mohali from 3:15 to 4.15 pm. The fifth class is held at Sector-78 Park Shivalik School Mohali from 4:30 to 5:30 pm and the sixth class is held at Sector, 77, Park No. 16 Mohali from 5:40 to 6:40 pm, where yoga training is given without charging any fee.
SDM Mohali said that trainer Surindra Lodhi is organizing 6 yoga sessions a day as per the convenience of the people and connecting them with a healthy lifestyle. He said that this is the first time that the Punjab government has done this that keeping in mind the physical and mental well-being of the common people, free yoga classes have been arranged for them. He appealed to the people to take maximum benefit of ‘CM Yogashala’. Yoga trainer Surindra Lodhi says that people associated with yoga are feeling healthy with continuous yoga practice. Through yoga, people have got rid of common problems like joint pain, back pain, weight loss etc. He said that the participants Sobha Bhandari and Ranjana Kohli who are practicing yoga with him have got relief from knee pain. Mehakpreet Kaur has got relief from back pain, cervical pain and Harvinder from back pain.
Another participant Aruna said that before practicing yoga she used to feel difficulty in breathing, shoulder jam (frozen solder) and pain in the body, which is now completely cured with yoga practice. He said that keeping in mind the busyness of the common people, the time of these sessions has been kept very flexible which starts from 5:00 am and goes on till 6:40 pm. He said that keeping in mind the convenience of the common people, these sessions are being organized in parks, community centers and dharamshalas located near their homes so that maximum people can get the benefit of yoga classes.
