PV United Cultural Club Edmonton celebrates the birth anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji

Gurdaspur:- Prakash Parv of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was celebrated with pomp and devotion by PV United Cultural Club Edmonton at Edmonton Public Library Meadows 17th Street. Many senior personalities, students and other dignitaries gathered at the library on the occasion.

Special contributions were made by the warm support of President Sarabjit Singh Sidhu, Vice President Kulwinder Singh Sidhu, Secretary Gurinder Singh Sidhu, Dangal Singh Jhaj, Jung Bahadar Singh, Amarjit Singh Pandher, Charanjit Singh Deol, besides other acts of contribution by Swarn Singh Brar Chota Ghar, Amarjit Singh Brar Gajjanwala, Sham Sundar, Gurdayal Singh Sangha, Surinder Singh Brar, Kamaljit Roy, Chamanlal Chauhan, Varinder Singh, Harpreet Singh, Kashmir Singh Nirmaan, Paras Ram Mahiniya etc.
On this auspicious occasion Kulwinder Singh Sidhu, Gurinder Singh Sidhu and Dangal Singh mentioned the teachings of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and said that India is the land of Rishis, Munis, Pirs, Faqirs and Sadhus. Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji was such a great person who guided the misguided and strayed people to the right path. He was the first Guru of Sikhism who started the practice of Langar which continues till date and will continue till the end of the world. Guru Ji travelled far and wide across Asia and preached the message of ? to the people.
He laid the foundation of unique spiritual, social and human values ??based on eternal truth creation, concept, equality, brotherhood, love, goodness and virtue in his poetry. He gave the message of Kirat Karo, Nam Japo, Band Chhako. The teachings and principles of Guru Nanak Dev Ji guide us to live a good life and build a good society. He gave the message of "So Kiyo Manda Akhiye Jit Jamah Rajan" to elevate the status of women in the society. Good arrangements for langar were made for the gathering.
