Bhopal, September 18- The police here have arrested a 28-year-old teacher of a private school on the charges of allegedly raping a three-year-old student. Deputy Commissioner of Police Priyanka Shukla said that the child's mother approached the police on Monday after the school management allegedly ignored the complaint.
The police officer said that the age of the girl is 3 years and seven months. Acting on the complaint, the police visited the school to get information and arrested the computer teacher Kasim Rehan. According to the child's mother, she reached the school after seeing injury marks on her daughter's private parts and complained, but the management ignored her complaint, the official said.
Officials said that a case of rape has been registered against the accused under BNS and POCSO Act and further action is being taken.
