Derabassi/SAS Nagar, August 20, 2024:- SDM Derabassi today at village Hamayunpur Tsimbali of Derabassi Block under the initiative of Camp 'Aap Di Sarkar Aap De Duar' started from Village Bhankharpur by Punjab Government headed by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. And under the leadership of other administrative team, people convenience camp was organized. Residents of village Hamayunpur Tsimbali and nearby villages approached this camp with their difficulties/problems. These camps are getting great response in villages, cities and wards. These camps are proving to be the best forum for resolving the problems and issues of the common people.
Derabassi MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that various administrative officials attended the camp and listened to the problems of the people of the constituency and most of them were solved on the spot. This is becoming possible due to the fact that the officials of various departments of the Punjab government are taking initiatives to reach these caps and get the people to do the stalled work related to their government offices. He also told that these camps are proving to be beneficial for the elderly people, because now their work is done sitting at home instead of government offices.
 Constituency MLA, Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that in this camp, the agriculture department gave the latest technical information to the farmers about the crops of sorghum, adopting straw management, proper use of natural spring water and saving the environment. And the farmers were also made aware about the advantages of direct sowing of paddy and not to burn paddy stubble. On this occasion, SDM Himanshu Gupta and officials of other departments were present in the camp among the officials of Derabassi sub division. He said that the presence of almost all the departments at one place is beneficial for the common people.
