Chabbewal- Under the education revolution started by the Punjab Government, MLA Ishank Kumar today inaugurated the works done in schools at a cost of about Rs 34 lakh and said that the Punjab Government has transformed the government schools, due to which the level of schools has improved a lot in every aspect.

Boundary wall was constructed in the Government Primary School of village Marnaiya Kalan at a cost of Rs 2.44 lakh, while classrooms and boundary wall were constructed in the Government Primary School of village Pandori Bibi at a cost of Rs 6 lakh. MLA Dr. Ishank Kumar said that there will be no shortage of teachers in any school of Chabbewal constituency.
He said that due to continuous recruitments done by the Punjab Government in the last three years, adequate teachers have been deployed in the schools. He said that he had raised the issue of shortage of teachers in Chabbewal constituency in the Assembly and about 700 teachers have been sent to the district.
After inaugurating the science lab and rooms constructed at a cost of more than Rs 13.50 lakh in the Government High School of village Pandori Bibi, Dr. Ishan Kumar said that the Punjab Government has set new milestones in the field of education. He said that along with further strengthening the infrastructure of the schools, every facility along with quality education is being provided to the students free of cost.
Dedicating the work done at a cost of Rs 2 lakh in the primary school of the village, MLA Dr. Ishan Kumar said that the Punjab Government has increased the education budget by 12 percent compared to last year, which will help in further strengthening the education sector. Principals of various schools, dignitaries of the village, school staff and students were also present on this occasion.
